Help the children of Sullivan County receive free books, and have a great meal at the same time! Chili’s Restaurant in Kingsport invites you to Sullivan County Imagination Library Night, August 9, 2010 from 6 PM to 10 PM. With each flyer and guest receipt presented, Chili’s will donate 10% of those sales to the Sullivan County Imagination Library.

This event is happening only at the Chili’s in Kingsport, 1921 N. Eastman Road. For more information call Chili’s, at 423 246-4173.

The Sullivan County Imagination Library will hold a fund-raiser at Books A Million Friday, August 6th, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 2626 E, Stone Drive. Books A Million will donate 10 percent of net sales from one of its registers to the Imagination Library. The selected register will be marked for customer reference. “Help us help the library give the gift of books to thousands of Sullivan County children from birth to their fifth birthday,” said Books A Million co-manager Nancy Brooks. A registration table will be available at the front of the store with literature for those would like to sign up their preschool children to receive a free book a month, delivered to their home.
